Ravenna: Many of the independent schools use an online application portal called Ravenna. You and your parents will need to setup a Ravenna Account to manage recommendations, transcripts, and applications.
SSAT: Many of the independent schools require that you take the SSAT test. You can register for the test and can often waive the fee by obtaining a waiver fee from the school to which you are applying.
