The following entries are to honour some wonderful and dedicated teachers who taught at Heathfield.
Sheila Roguski taught biology at Heathfield during the late 1950s and into the 60s. One student remembers her fondly as being tall with dark wavy hair and warm grey eyes. Mrs. Roguski was originally from Harrow, went on to teacher training college and met her Polish husband soon after the war.She died on 23rd December 2012 and will be remembered by her seven children and 11 grandchildren.
If you were at Heathfield while Wyn Ribchester was headmistress, you will remember her for her optimistic view on life, her quick mind and her wicked sense of humour. She was headmistress from 1974 until 1988 and was instrumental in the relocation of Heathfield from College Road to its new premises in Pinner. A friend and colleague of hers wrote to say that sadly Mrs. Ribchester died on 3rd January 2015.
