Yes, Pasa has several funding pools!
Anyone in financial need may request full financial support upon registration. Various scholarships are also available to offset registration costs, and some scholarships cover meals, travel, or lodging expenses.
To apply, visit the scholarship application. You will be prompted to answer questions about your relationship to sustainable agriculture and how the conference will be valuable to you.
We appreciate any time scholarship recipients can contribute towards the conference, but volunteering is not required to receive funding.
If you are attending the conference as part of a group (such as a farm crew or organization), please note that each person who wishes to apply for a scholarship must complete their own application. We cannot process group scholarship requests.
The scholarship application deadline is December 20.
Other opportunities for support:
As funding allows, the Food Animal Concerns Trust (FACT) awards scholarships of up to $400 for livestock and poultry farmers to attend educational events to learn knowledge, skills, and best practices related to humane animal management, business and farm finance, and/or value-added production processes. FACT is currently accepting scholarship applications.
If you are a farmer, rancher, agricultural manager, or farmworker in Pennsylvania, you may be eligible to receive 50% of your registration costs through the AgConnect program.
Pittsburgh Urban Growers Professional Development Scholarship supports urban gardeners and farmers in Pittsburgh and Allegheny County, and helps them access professional development opportunities.
You can register older children (K–8th grade) for the kids program. See kids' program rates. You must pre-register for this program; on-site registration is not available.
Children aged 5 through 12 must be enrolled in the kids program or cared for outside of the conference program spaces. Minors under 16 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
You can bring children under 5 years old for free. A toddler and infant play space will be available for caregivers to use.

We strive to create a welcoming space for all conference attendees, so we provide an optional field where you can offer your pronouns. This helps us avoid making assumptions about each other’s pronouns based on names or appearances, and we can check name badges to learn about each other’s preferences. This is an optional field, which can of course be left blank if you prefer.
You can learn more about pronouns and why you may choose to share them from The Human Rights Coalition and GLSEN.
We will not be providing virtual or live-streamed sessions at this conference. To stay informed on all Pasa events, including virtual events, subscribe to our newsletter here.
We only record our plenary and keynote sessions, and we make the recordings available to the general public no sooner than six months following the conference.
