Executive Order 9066
Executive Order 9066
Internment camps were created to detain certain groups of people. During WWII Japanese Americans were forced into work camps.
Executive Order 9066 was ordered by FDR to relocate Japanese Americans following the bombing of Pearl Harbor by the Japanese. Opponents argued that the order was issued in direct violation of rights guaranteed under the fourth and fourteenth amendments.

The Manhattan Project was the name given to the development of atomic weapons.
Atomic Weapons began a new age in warfare and caused mass destruction and loss of life.
The use of atomic weapons ended WWII in Asia.
