The Lion Band is a premier performing group at Thompson Intermediate School in Pasadena Independent School District.  Located in Houston, TX Thompson feeds J. Frank Dobie HS and houses 7th and 8th grade students.  We are focus on creating life-long performers and responsible citizens through instrumental music education.

The Thompson Band consistently earns top ratings in UIL Concert and Sight Reading as well as individual competitions for Solo and Ensemble and TMEA All Region Band.
