How do I Login?

  • First Initial of First Name, First Initial of Last Name, Student ID # with the 0)

    1. Example: Hector Trojan (0123456) ht0123456.

    2. This login will work for all of your programs.

  1. Ask your teacher to reset your password.

    1. Change password to one that you already use (ie. Instagram, Snapchat,Facebook) must be.

      1. i. Minimum of 6 characters.

      2. ii. One capital letter.

      3. iii. One number.

Schoology

Join a course using an Access Code

This process will allow you to join a course after you have already created your Schoology account. If you have not yet created a Schoology account, please review this article: Sign Up as a Student.

  1. Log in to Schoology through the Pasadena ISD Portal.

  2. Select Courses in the top menu.

  3. Click Join a Course or My Courses.

  4. From the My Courses page, click Join Course on the right side of the page.

  5. Enter your access code (XXXX-XXXX-XXXXX).

  6. Click Join.

After you have successfully entered the Course Access Code, you will be taken directly to your new course. When you want to return to this course, or any of your courses, click Courses at the top and select the course you would like to enter.

Google Chat

Start a conversation

  1. On your computer, go to chat.google.com. If you have the Chat Chrome app, Chat will open in a new window.

  2. At the top, type the email address of the person in the box labeled "Find people, rooms, bots".

  3. Type your message. ...

  4. On your keyboard, press Enter.

Google Meet

Google Meet is an interactive online video conferencing platform. This optional platform allows teachers to video conference with small groups of students to support their online learning.

The link your teacher sends may look slightly different, but here is one example of what it might look like - meet.google.com/izu-tdrs.pkm.


Summit Learning Platform

The Platform is an online tool that supports what teachers and students do in class each day. It is where students work through projects, submit schoolwork, take tests, and access a variety of materials for their classes.

Flipgrid is a free video discussion platform from Microsoft that helps educators see and hear from every student in class and foster a fun and supportive social learning environment. In Flipgrid, educators post discussion prompts and students respond with short videos, whether they are learning in class or at home.
