PISD HS Social Studies Assessment Guidelines
Maintaining the security and confidentiality of district assessments is critical for ensuring fair and equal testing opportunities for all Pasadena ISD students. Given the many uses of student performance data and the need to assure educators, parents, students, and the public that test results are meaningful and valid, it is imperative that all individuals participating in the PISD Social Studies program preserve the integrity of test content and student data through strict adherence to the instructions and procedures contained in the PISD HS Social Studies Guidelines.
Provide a guaranteed and viable curriculum that ensures that all students have an equal opportunity to learn. Each student will have access to the same content, knowledge and skills in each section or class.
Avoid using exact wording and images from district benchmarks in classroom instruction.
Abstain from copying, recording, electronically capturing (print, photograph, or screenshot) or posting any part of the district provided benchmarks.
