Social Studies Class Procedures

1. Required Materials/Technology for Class

This is a paperless class. All work for the class will be completed and submitted electronically. You will need earbuds to listen to lectures. For all Social Studies classes, you need to have the following resources downloaded to your computer (should be done during onboarding):

Schoology

Kami

PDF viewer

Outlook (to communicate with teacher)

Google Suite (Google Drive)

Please let Mrs. Cave know if you for some reason do not have some of these items!

2. Student Procedures for Class:

· Beginning to work

1. Make sure you have the correct course code for the Schoology course. See Mrs. Cave for course codes.

2. Log into Schoology.

· Completing the Class

1. You must complete this class in order. Please familiarize yourself with the basic tools of the class by using the How-To videos at the top.

2. All assignments in Schoology, including lesson guides, are mandatory.

3. You will be completing lesson guides as you follow along with a recording of me lecturing. My lectures show slides on the screen with me talking over them. There are questions throughout my lectures that you have to answer to move on. You can pause as needed to type into your lesson guide sheets. You will submit the lesson guides once you finish them.
