Paraprofessionals

Paraprofessionals are a vital part of the Lomax family and our instructional support is an asset to all students.

Paraprofessional Expectations:

• Report to school on time.

• Follow your assigned schedule and arrive to class and duty spots on time.

• Communication is key to an effective support facilitation partnership.

• Flexibility is a critical piece in the support role.

• It is important to be in communication with Mrs. Mihaiuc of any absences or conflicts within the schedule.

• Mrs. Mihaiuc will email the staff if/when paras are pulled to cover classes.

Teacher/Paraprofessional Expectations

• Teachers will plan for the Paraprofessional activities in class

• Paraprofessional will meet with the teacher, if needed, to learn strategies/skills to successfully lead a small group activity or learn a specific content skill
