Gyanoday Bhavan - Online Resources -Usage Policy

Electronic resources such as e-journals, e-books, etc. made available by the Gyanoday Bhavan, are for academic use.

These resources can be searched, browsed and material may be downloaded and printed as single copies of articles as is done in the case of printed library material. Downloading orprinting of a complete book or an entire issue or a volume of one or more journals (called systematic downloading) is strictly prohibited.

The use of robots, spiders or intelligent agents to access, search, and/or systematically download from these resources is also prohibited.

Please be aware that systematic downloading will cause the publisher to block the entire community of users @ Gyanoday Bhavan-A from accessing these resources.

Undertaking

I understand the policy outlined above and undertake to abide by it. I understand that any violation of the policy will result in the loss of my library privileges and/or other action as deemed appropriate by the University.

Preservation and Access

The SHERPA/RoMEO service site is maintained by SHERPA staff and provides a listing of publishers’ copyright conditions as they relate to authors archiving their work on-line.

The service categories publishers and their conditions as:

Green publishers –archiving is allowed of both pre-prints and post-prints.

Blue publishers –archiving is allowed of post-prints but not pre-prints.

Yellow publishers –archiving is allowed of pre-prints but not post-prints.

White publishers –archiving is not allowed.
