Magis Documents

When you find a placement, please supply the supervisor with the 'Magis Program - Letter to Placement'.

Your tutor group teacher will provide you with (1) printed copy. If you require more copies, please go to the school office to collect a replacement.

Your parents will be provided with a 'Magis Program - Letter to Parents'.

Your tutor group teacher will be provided (1) printed copy by your tutor teacher. If you require another copy, please go to the school office to collect a replacement.

For your Magis Program hours to validated, you need to keep a record of your hours. Your supervisor at the Magis placement is required to write their feedback on your experience and sign you off.

Your parents/guardians to sign the Parent/Guardian Conversation section at the conclusion of this Magis program and make a brief comment on your overall experience.

Your tutor group teacher will provide you with (1) printed copy. If you lose the document, click on the file on the right and 'make a copy' to edit the document. You will need to reprint the document on your own accord.

It is very important that you spend some time reflecting on your experiences during your placement. It is important to think about the various events that occur and how they affect you. Not every event will have and impact, but if you are honest with yourself you will find that you learn and grow as a person during your placement. This is even easier if you take this task as a genuine and important part of your senior schooling.

1. Open the Magis Program Reflection Booklet in Google docs (the document on the right)
2. Make a copy and save it in your Google drive.
3. Share this document with your tutor teacher (or your tutor teacher may wish to create a Google Classroom).
4. Read the questions you need to reflect on after every experience.
5. Take your time to reflect on each question before answering.

Please click on the file and 'make a copy' to edit the document. Students will not be receiving a printed copy of this document.

If you have not completed the 15 Magis hours by the due date, you are required to complete the Magis Planning Sheet on the right.
