Be mobile, keep on the move - be alert.
Wear orange vest, take a first aid bag and a megaphone.
Be noticed by children and remember to supervise the toilet area.
Encourage safe play and stop dangerous play.
Leave the playground free of litter.
Be punctual in assuming duties.
Wear a hat while on duty throughout the year.
Children with no hat need to be sent down to concrete shade area.

Encourage use of Restorative Practice for children to resolve difficulties.
To ensure a high level of co-operation and harmony between teachers and children the following rules have been established.
Children will:
walk on concrete (no running);
play within the bounds of the school;
wear a hat all year;
adhere to procedures stated for before school, recess, lunch and dismissal;
be sensible at all times;
place all litter in bins provided;
show respect for whole community i.e. children, staff, parents and visitors.

8:15am Teacher opens gate and welcomes children. Children sit under the shade cloth with their bag. No ball games at all during this time.
8:25am Children are dismissed in grades and asked to place their bags in the designated area. No running games are allowed in the morning. Children may play handball or shoot goals on the basketball court.
Eating Time:
When coming out to eat lunch, teachers are to stay with their grade until their grade buddy or relieving teacher is present on the playground. If the teacher is on duty at lunch time their grade buddy supervises the grade whilst the teacher has a break before going on duty.
Teacher on Infants Duty monitors all lower playground areas. This includes both concrete areas, Stage 1 and Stage 3 toilets and the hall verandah.
Children are allowed to play basketball, handball and other quiet games. The Stage Two toilets are out of bounds. All stage 2 and 3 children need to use the Stage Three toilets.
At recess time teacher also monitors students in the passive playground area. Only quiet games on the Passive Playground between Kindergarten and the Admin building. Year 6 Early Childhood Leaders look after handing out the games equipment.
After the bell rings Infants playground teacher supervises Kindergarten and Year 1 in their lines until teachers arrive.
Teacher on Field Duty monitors upper hill area and slope area between concrete and hill. Children are not to eat while playing on the hill. After the bell field teacher supervises Years 3, 4 and 5 until teachers arrive. Touch Football and soccer on the fields MUST adhere to rules.
Teacher monitors area under the tree and the playground where the cricket net are. Children are not to eat while playing on the hill. Please keep all children away from roots of Fig Tree. Cricket can only be played in cricket net area.Teacher on duty must wait for all children to leave before walking down to concrete area. After bell rings Cricket Nets teacher monitors Year 6 and Year 2 by standing on basketball court until teachers arrive.
Two specified teachers are rostered for bus duty each afternoon.
Grade buddies to organise supervision of 'Walkers' each afternoon.
Grades K to 6 to exit school via front gate.
Crossing Supervisor to oversee crossing of Fragar Road.
Teachers to follow designated roster system as to supervision of children who are not collected by parents after crossing Fragar Road. Supervising teacher to bring these children back and sit with the students on ‘waiters’. The 'waiters' (the children not collected by 3:10pm) are to wait under the shade cloth until collected by parents or guardians. Please let the teachers on bus duty know if you have brought back any children from crossing duty.
The front gate to be locked at the end of bus duty.
