Daily Organisation

Two teachers on duty.  Children sit under the shade cloth in their grade groups as they come into school.

Teachers direct students grade by grade to place their bags and belongings outside their classrooms. 

Students need to play on the concrete in the middle of the playground.  No children may enter the classrooms before school.

First Bell.  Teachers leave staffroom/classroom and children move to class lines.

Second Bell.  Teachers are to be with their classes on their lines outside classrooms.

LUNCH: DUTY TEACHERS NEED TO BE ON ROSTERED PLAYGROUND DUTY QUICKLY

Lunch bell rings at 10.45am for eating time. Teachers on lunch duty have break time as classroom teachers supervise students at eating time. 

11.00am Lunch duty commences.

Once all children have left classrooms, doors must be locked.

First Bell.  Teachers vacate the staffroom.  Children stop playing and line up outside classrooms.

Second Bell.  All teachers at class lines, students proceed into classrooms.

RECESS: DUTY TEACHERS NEED TO BE ON ROSTERED PLAYGROUND QUICKLY. Teachers walk children outside.

Bell.  End of playtime.  Children prepare to go back to classrooms.  Teachers begin to vacate staffroom.

Bell.  Children and teachers outside classrooms ready for classes.

After School Dismissal

Children will be accompanied by one grade teacher to bus and waiter lines.

Children will be accompanied by one grade teacher across the road to the dismissal area.

During Term 1 for Kindergarten, both teachers walk children across the road and TA will wait with students for bus and waiters.
