Religious Education ensures that students come to know Jesus Christ through the promotion of Catholic Tradition and Teaching. Students are supported to discover the hope that is within and to experience a meaningful and flourishing life through Religious Education.

The religious dimension is present everywhere in the school: playground, assemblies and the classrooms themselves, where every Key Learning Area contributes to a genuinely religious way of understanding the world. The invitation to meaningful prayer and liturgy as well as participation in the Sacraments, nurture and give expression to the religious dimension of school life in the context of the Church’s celebration of the liturgical year.

Strong partnerships between home, school and parish support students to grow in faith and learning. We recognise that parents and carers are each child’s most influential, primary, and essential educators. Our supportive learning environment, in partnership with families and our Sacred Heart Parish, provides a holistic Catholic education program for all our students.
