The following books are available from Closed Reserve for the duration of the task. You can use these books in the library (ask at the Information Desk for access to these books). These items may not be borrowed while on Closed Reserve to ensure that all students have access to the books at school:
Surrogacy Issues edited by Justin Healey (Volume 391). Published 2015.
Reproductive Ethics edited by Justin Healey (Volume 442). Published 2019. While this book focuses mainly on the ethical issues, it does include reference to some of the legal aspects.
Both of these books include a glossary of terms and websites with further information on the topic.

Students can search the EBSCOHost Research Databases which provides full-text access to articles from journals, newspapers, magazines, reference books and more. Try searching:
Start with a search term such as "surrogacy" and then add keywords to refine your search to articles from Australia and from a legal perspective. For example, try the following:

Limit your results by date:
Search for articles and other media that has been published within the last five years . When you find articles of interest, review any subject terms included with the article as these may assist in leading you to other articles of interest.
Note that cases may be older than five years.
As you research, write down the keyword terms and/or subject headings that are helpful. You can then apply these terms in a general Google search. Tip: use an Advanced Google search to assist in refining your results. Refer to this Google slide for instructions.

Search these databases from the convenience of home or wherever you have internet access. Your local library may provide access to additional legal studies of interest.
