For your assessment on Terrorism around the world, you have access to books in the library, print journals, World Book Encyclopedia, and a wide variety of databases including:
EBSCOHost: History Reference Centre (database)
EBSCOHost: Secondary Explora (database)
The databases include journal articles, magazines, newspapers, primary sources, video, audio, images and reference material.
A selection of links are available below. In class, you will be shown techniques to refine your searching as needed and how to utilise some of the features available in the databases to further assist you with your research.
Go to the History Reference Centre and construct your own search based on the country your group is researching. For example, try terrorism AND Argentina. Look at your results list for information of interest and relevance. If required you can further refine your search by applying limits such as dates and type of source.
You can try the same research techniques used in the History Reference Centre in Secondary Explora. You will probably receive a greater number of results than in the History Reference Centre, so you will need to refine your search results. This can be achieved by thoughtfully using additional keywords to narrow your results or you might refine using dates or limiting to specific types of sources depending on your information requirements.
