Network with friends and family to find opportunities to explore your passion area. These can include casual employment, business mentoring, integrated work experiences, internships and workplacement.

The work experience documentation will be organised and emailed to your host employer. Students will receive a Student Placement Record to be signed by parents/guardian and student.

Australian Catholic University (ACU) STEP UP INTO TEACHING 2026/2027
The Step Up into Teaching course is a continuing partnership between CSPD and the Australian Catholic University that has seen many of our students undertake university study towards a teaching qualification while at school.
The SUIT course for 2026/27 will be delivered at the ACU Strathfield campus during July 2026 and January 2027 school holidays.
ACU will hold an information evening on Tuesday 5 May 2026 at the Strathfield Campus - 25 Barker Road Strathfield for interested Year 11 students and parents/carers. It is compulsory for you to attend this information night in person as part of the enrolment process.

Udemy offer a wide range of short courses. CathWest Innovation College have some licenses for these short courses.

3. Once you have finished the course, email your Tutor Teacher so your industry profile can be updated
These courses can be accessed once the Year 12 students graduate as it is only available to school leavers.
