Dear Parents,

Thank you for enrolling your child into Kindergarten at St Patrick's Guildford for 2023.

Parent Information Session

A Parent Information session will be held on Wednesday 18th October commencing at 6.00pm. This is an opportunity for you to be informed about the school’s educational philosophy and programs, practical tips in preparing your child for school and to meet other parents. The meeting is for parents only. It is vital that at least one parent of each child attends.

Orientation Mornings

To assist your child with the transition from home to school, two Orientation mornings (per group) have been planned. You are asked to bring your child to the hall on both these days. These sessions will provide your child with the opportunity to meet the teachers, familiarise themselves with the learning space and participate in some school based activities. Start of the Year

Prior to your child's first day, all Kindergarten children will be given an interview time where they will meet with either one of the kindergarten teachers or one of our learning support teachers and undertake a Maths Assessment Interview (MAI) as well as some early literacy tasks. This will enable the teachers to get a good understanding of your child’s strengths and the areas in which we can support them. These interviews will take place on either Monday 30th January, Tuesday 31st January or Wednesday 1st February. More details can be found at this link.

Kindergarten students will officially commence school on Thursday 2nd February, 2023.
