J.K. Rowling
The book Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, by J.K Rowling, is a fascinating and action-packed fantasy book in which Harry, a young wizard, is forced to complete the Triwizard Tournament at his wizarding school Hogwarts. He has to escape massive, powerful dragons, dive underwater to the mysterious depths of the lake to rescue hostages and navigate his way around a maze filled with treacherous obstacles. Harry’s fourth year at Hogwarts is filled with tests of friendship, self-discovery, and loyalty. His friends Hermione and Ron help him prepare for the tasks, with occasionally Dobby the house-elf assisting Harry greatly. Discrimination comes into play often, such as when Hagrid is devastated when the world finds out that he is a half-giant, or when Hermione receives furious letters about her being a muggle-born with no wizarding parents... yet Harry always finds a way to make others feel better and bring justice into the world. There is more danger than usual in the air in Harry's fourth year at Hogwarts... there are countless life-threatening events. But perhaps the most perilous part of all is the nightmare at the very end… People who like feeling a sense of magic and very interesting, thrilling books will surely find this book a worthy read.
