Parent Information on SLCL Partnership

Dear Parent or Guardian,

The Parkway Library Media Program would like to bring to mind our continued and exciting partnership between Parkway School District and St Louis County Library. In 2015 Parkway School District partnered with St Louis County Library and the ConnectED Library Challenge to ensure all students had the opportunity to receive a library card. During the 2018-2019 school year SLCL focused on the creation of "virtual" library cards. These cards offered information access to nearly all of the library's online resources, including databases, e-books, and e-media. Students in the district will be able to access these resources at home or school and with any device. Login information is located on the Home page.

If your student already has a traditional SLCL library card, they will continue to use it to checkout materials and access computers from any of the branch locations. Parkway School District is committed to the ongoing collaboration with SLCL in providing resources and service that supplement the school library, as well as, the classroom learning environment.
