Lumio

Lumio does not replace SMART Notebook. SMART Notebook can be brought into Lumio so that Notebook pages can be interacted with on student devices. 

By syncing your Google Drive to Lumio, all Lumio files you create will save in both places and importing Drive files into Lumio will be easy. 

How do I get to Lumio? There are 3 easy ways once you sync with your Drive. Pick what works for you.

Build Lumio lessons that can be shared with students to do individually, in groups, or as a class on their own devices.

Lumio lessons can be a combination of SMART Notebook pages, Google Drive files and interactives built into Lumio. Each Lumio page can be done as a whole class or pushed out for students to do on their own devices. 

You can add files from your computer including PDFs or SMART Notebook files. You can also add Google Drive files.

Combining SMART Notebook with Lumio opens up new possibilities for interactivity and collaboration. 

Use a Shout it Out activity to promote student voice. 

Lumio lessons automatically save to your Lumio library. They will also save to your Google Drive once you have synced it. See slide for more information. 

When delivering a lesson you can choose to control the slides by selecting teacher pacing or let the students work at their own pace by selecting student pacing. You can also convert pages to activities. 

By sharing links, teachers can make a copy of the lesson for their own Lumio library. Students can access the lesson asynchronously.
