After School Play Productions (2023-2024)
Have you ever wanted to try your hand at acting or technical theater work? If so, you should get involved in our all school play and/or all school musical! This year we're performing The Phantom of the Science Fair in November (Auditions Sept. 12th, Sign-Up for Tech by September 23rd) and our TBA Spring Musical in April (auditions in December) We will need actors, technical crews, and stage managers and any student from PCMS is welcome to join. Theatre is a great way to meet new people, challenge yourself, learn new skills, and most importantly, have fun! Jazz Band (2023-2024)
Jazz Band is for students who want to play jazz music and contemporary popular music. Instruments include: saxophone, trumpet, trombone, bass, guitar, piano and drums. Regular attendance is very important. Membership is by audition. Students interested should see Mr. Higgins for information. Jazz Band participates in band concerts, the Greater St. Louis Jazz Festival, and other community activities.
Our first meeting will be Thursday, October 27th and we will meet every Thursday for the rest of the year.

Honors Orchestra (2023-2024)
A select ensemble open to exceptional string students from all grades. This group will perform in evening concerts, community performances, and music competitions. Students must also be enrolled in orchestra as one of their elective choices during the school day. The requirements for auditions are scales, solo piece, and sight-reading. Auditions are held in May after the final orchestra concert. Please visit Mr. McKinney's website for more information.

Chamber Orchestra - TBA
This is small selection of students from the Honors orchestra. This ensemble will perform for school, out of school, and other musical events. Students are chosen by their honors orchestra audition score. These students must be in private lessons and participants in Solo and Ensemble Contest or the All-Suburban Honors Orchestra. Students must also be enrolled in orchestra class as one of their elective choices during the school day. Also please note that this ensemble meets on Tuesday's, students must have their own transportation home to participate in Chamber Orchestra.
