Maximum Ride (The Manga) 

Setting Description:

In Maximum Ride the setting is they were in a cabin far away from people and civilization but then they move away from there when Angel gets kidnapped by Erasers and Jeb's son Ari. Then they all get split up into groups and they left the home because Erasers found them and they kept moving to different places. But then they all get put into a cage at the “school” and they stay there.
