Plot summary
At Spy School, they were doing a mock war, and they were getting graded. They had to capture the flag, but half of their team got out because of the cannon on the other side, and Ben’s team did not know how to use it properly. He and Erica ran to the cannon and tried to destroy the enemy's artillery. When they reached the cannon and loaded it, someone was a double agent and someone loaded a live round into the cannon, Ben aimed the cannon at the principal's office and saved the kids that it was aimed at. Then the principal yelled at Ben and kicked him out of the school.
After getting kicked out of spy school, he had to go back to his normal life. After his parents enrolled him in his old school. On the first day of school, he met his friend, but his old bully tried to beat him up, he had been trained to fight in spy school, so Ben beat up the Bully. When three other kids came running, he ran away, and he was stuck in a dead end but suddenly someone all them up. Joshua Halllal was alive, and he was trying to recruit him to an Evil spy school Ben thought it was Erica’s Idea to let him get into the Evil spy school, so he agreed to go to the Evil spy school.
He wakes up in a room feeling that he has been drugged and that he is trapped inside a room, he explores his room and sees that his room was way bigger than the dorm he had been living in spy school. He walked out and saw a kid sitting on a couch playing a video game, he tried saying something, but the kid did not respond. When a girl walked in said he does not talk that much pointing to the kid on the couch. Ben was a little confused about what happened to him, so he started to ask her a lot of questions like where were they and how many other kids were there. But the girl said that there were only three of them. She explained everything he had to know and said that classes start at noon. Then his classes started his first few classes of evil spy school.
Ben saw that Ashley left the house sneakily, and he thought that something was going on so he went to investigate and tried not to let anybody notice that he was there until he saw that Joshua Hallal was walking towards him so he hid in the dark, and he saw him enter the rec room and go into a secret room and Ben knew that would be important to figure out what was happening, but he saw Joshua Hallal go into a secret bunker in the rec center so he follows him there, and he sneakily watches Joshua watch a video of Ashley and Nefarious acting like there was a car crash, and they stop an armored car for help, so the people get out to help them when Ashley started attacking them, and she beat both of them and opened the back door, and then he saw that they just sprung Murray, and he saw that Joshua was about to go so he sneakily ran back to his room.
When Murray “surprises” Ben during breakfast he acts like he does not know that they sprung Murray and when he comes, Ben tries to get something out of his mouth about the plans Spyder what are they going to do and if they are going to plan something big like a nuke or something, but before he could say something they had to go to class and Joshua take over the class and did not let the teacher teach. But when the class was over, Ben and Murray got in another fight and Ben said that they were trapped inside the building, and they wanted to go somewhere, so because of the pressure he agreed to go to the beach.
Ben realized when they were driving around that they were in New Jersey, and they were going to Sandy Hook, when they reached they quickly changed clothes and went into the water while Murray did not go with them, and sat next to the car with a cooler, and he was taking pictures of some girls that were playing Frisbee. But only after a while, Murray said that they had to go but when he was walking by the girls he saw that it was Erica, and he realized that she hid in plain sight, and she secretly gave him an earbud so they could talk and figure out what was going on.
When Ben was talking to Erica with the earbud in the shower, Ashley realized that he had been in the shower too long when went out of the shower he got out she scared him and asked him who he was talking to Ben made excuse practicing his math skills she bought it and said that was weird and when they went out to eat breakfast, and he only saw Nefarious and said that they were in the recenter, so Ben went there when he reached he saw that Murray was just sitting in the jacuzzi when Ben asks about what is Spyder doing and how do they do things but when Joshua walked in and said that Spyder is above everything and that they don’t leave any evidence.
Erica tells Ben to sneak out and receive the package that Erica was about to throw over the fences and Ben communicates to Erica by making noises so that no guards would notice when he gets to the wall, and he gets a little small ball, Erica said it was a safe opener until some guards saw something rustling around the under-construction houses when the guard called Joshua and they both came while Ben was hiding in a hole before they could see them a cat ran across, and they thought it was a cat, and they went away Ben sneakily walked back to his room and he opened the ball up and read the instructions about how to use it, and then he secretly went to the recenter to the bunker and try to open the safe but the thing would not open so Ben had to blow it up which made the alarm go off.
When the alarm went off and the sprinklers went off when Ben heard footsteps, and he ran out and saw his teachers and guards came to kill him so he ran into a hall which said exit he picked up a dumbbell and through it at a teacher's foot, and he ran off when he saw everybody had a gun, and they started to shoot he quickly ran into the Bulldozer that was used for construction when the workers screamed as they saw people with guns chasing them because they were just some random people that did not know what Spyder was, until he was cornered so he hopped on the bulldozer and ran through all the unfinished buildings and his teachers tried to shoot him so he used the bulldozer to knock them out when he burst through the wall and saw Erica and her family waiting form him they told him to let the bulldozer running so Spyder gets confused and they ran off in a Van.
The Hales explain to Ben that Sandy Hook was used as a defense system against enemy Missiles, and they explain that Spyder wanted to destroy the defense, so Cyrus stool the boat so they can go to the Island which had the defense system when they arrived they saw that the guards were unconscious and when they went to check on the missile it had a boom then CIA came thinking that they had planted the boom, and they were working for Spyder, but Cyrus tried warning them about the boom, and he saw the clock, and he said them to run as they ran be hind them the boom exploded blowing up the soldiers and CIA they ran to the boat, and they saw the Police and CIA boats and helicopters were coming after them, but they had a speed boat so they got away, but the police brought their speed boats and Cyrus blew up the boat so it seems like they died, but they sneakily swam to the Statue of Liberty.
They were hiding in the Statue of Liberty, Cyrus said that they could bait the CIA and bring them to the hidden forest so they could destroy the spyder's plan, and they could do it with the help of the CIA and if they were successful the CIA would reward them and reaccept them into the CIA. So Ben called Zoe, and he told them that he had joined Spyder, he said that the CIA should bring their whole army so they could find the Head of Spyder, and they could finally destroy it. So, Zoe quickly went to tell all the heads in the CIA about Spyder and that the whole Hale family was there.
The CIA had arrived outside the Hidden Forests gates, and they were ready for a fight, then the Spyder agents immediately started to shoot at the CIA, and they shot back while Ben and the Hales used grapple hooks to climb to the giant wall and Ben saw that they were repairing the wall that he used the bulldozer on, then while fighting Cyrus told Erica to go with Ben to the recenter so they could stop what was happening in the bunker that Ben had found when he was at Evil spy school so when they entered the bunker they saw Murray and Nefarious sitting on the couch, and then they heard the Missiles go off and before Erica could do something Ashley came and said to Erica to drop the gun. Then Murray said that they were going to use the missiles to blow up the bridges and Spyder had a construction company that would come in and get paid millions of dollars to fix the Bridges but suddenly a glitch happened so Nefarious had to control all the Missiles all at once so Ben tries to explain to him that being with spyder is not a good idea, and they will betray him so Nefarious listens and makes all the missiles explode in the air but when Ashley tries to do something Zoe comes from the back and knocks Ashley out But one missile was only one on and the others were blown up, and the missile was coming for them.
When Ben runs out of the recenter, they see that all the guards do not even know what is going on or what was spyder When he is about to go he sees that Erica is not there, and she has run off to find Murray because he had disappeared, so Ben ran to Her and told her go because the Missiles were about to hit the recenter then when it was about to hit they hid before they would die when Ben woke up they were in a dinner, and he saw Erica next to him, and he thought that he had done a really good job by thwarting the plans of spyder without dying.
