The theme of Evil Spy School, by Stuart Gibbs, is don’t be dishonest. Early in the story, “The safe door now hung slightly ajar, charred black with wisps of smoke curling up from it.” Ben tried to break into Spyder's vault, and he did not find anything that was important, and he blew his cover and Cyrus was very angry because Ben couldn’t do anything. He did not even find out about Spyder's plan and what they were going to do. This is an example of being Dishonest because he was not honest to Spyder by betraying them, or he could have stayed longer to figure everything out before doing anything, because of this “The alarms went off” If Ben had not broken into the vault, then his cover wouldn’t have been blown and Cyrus wouldn’t have been angry with him, this proves that being dishonest is bad because you will get in trouble. Ben was honest with the CIA This shows how Ben was never with Spyder, and he was only making it look like that he was with Spyder so he could thwart their plans. This shows that Ben learned that if he was honest and did not blow his cover, he would have stopped the missiles before they hit the recenter, and he would have captured the real spyder agents. Because of this, the CIA accepted him. If Ben had never been dishonest, then he could have captured the main head of Spyder. The theme of Evil Spy School, by Stuart Gibbs, is Don’t be dishonest.
