July 2026
Welcome to July! This month, our kids will continue exploring the parables of Jesus as we learn more about living in and growing God's Kingdom. Through these powerful stories, children will discover practical ways to follow Jesus in their everyday lives.
We'll begin with The Story of the Farmer and learn how God's Kingdom grows when we listen to God and put His Word into practice. In Week 2, we'll explore The Parable of the Bags of Gold and discover how God wants us to use the gifts and opportunities He has given us to serve Him and others. Next, we'll look at The Servant Who Had No Mercy and learn that because God has forgiven us, we can extend forgiveness to others. Finally, we'll wrap up our summer series with The Story of the Persistent Widow, where kids will see the importance of continually talking with God and trusting Him, even when answers don't come right away.
We are excited to help your children grow in their faith and understanding of God's Kingdom this month!

Tip Of The Month
Ideas To Keep In Mind As You Talk With Your Kids:
When talking with your child about forgiveness, help them understand that forgiving someone does not mean what they did was okay. Forgiveness means trusting God to handle the hurt and choosing not to hold onto anger or seek revenge. It's also important for kids to know that forgiveness doesn't mean they have to let someone continue hurting them or remain close friends with that person. Encourage your child to talk with a trusted adult whenever someone makes them feel unsafe, uncomfortable, or repeatedly treats them poorly. God's forgiveness helps us forgive others, while also giving us wisdom to seek help and establish healthy boundaries.
