Hey Parkview Families,
Thank you for taking a moment to read about an exciting update for Parkview Next Gen and to review the facility map. We truly appreciate your flexibility and support over the next few months.
As we continue to see the Lord do even greater things at Parkview, we’re excited to begin our Next Gen Center remodel. This project will create much-needed space and allow us to better serve the unique needs of our kids and student ministries. Our team is looking forward to all that this transformation will bring!
During this time, there will be some temporary adjustments to our normal operations. To maintain consistency, safety, and a strong focus on discipleship, the Next Gen Center will be closed from May 4 through July 31, and we will relocate our Parkview Kids programming.
Weekend Kids Ministry Locations:
Parkview Preschool: Upstairs classrooms in the main building
Parkview Elementary: Gathering Space adjacent to the main auditorium
To support these changes, we will have two check-in kiosk locations:
Main Lobby (near stairs & elevator): Primarily for preschool families heading upstairs
Office Reception Area: For elementary families and those with both preschool and elementary children
For families with both age groups:
At drop-off: Please check in and drop off your elementary child first in the Gathering Space, then proceed upstairs with your preschooler.
At pick-up: We recommend picking up your preschooler first, then heading downstairs to pick up your elementary child.
Please take a few moments to review the facility map below so you’re familiar with classroom locations, kiosks, and stairwells. If you have any questions, please contact me at warren@parkviewlife.com.
We’re grateful for your partnership and are excited for all that God will do this summer. We look forward to a fun, safe, and discipleship-focused season ahead!
The First Floor will feature two kiosks areas as well as a space for our Elementary Worship Zone.
Upstairs will be ALL Preschool Rooms. There are two staircases and an elevator to access the area.
It’s May, and we’re nearing the end of God’s Big Story as we travel through the Bible in a year. But this month holds two incredible truths for kids in your ministry. First of all, we are, right now, living in God’s Big Story—the time between when Jesus returned to heaven, and when He will come back to earth again. And that’s the second amazing truth: that in the end, God will make everything right! We start off with Peter and Paul boldly facing the Sanhedrin, and then travel with Philip into the wilderness, where he meets an Ethiopian official with big questions. We watch Saul on the road to Damascus as his blindness helps him truly see, and we go on deck with Paul as he weathers a terrible storm at sea, followed by a shipwreck. We end with John’s vision of heaven, where God Himself will one day wipes the tears from our eyes and mend everything that’s broken. It’s a great time for kids to discover how we can follow in the footsteps of Peter and Paul and many others to share the Good News of Jesus. And no matter what challenges we face, we can always rely on the Holy Spirit to help.

Ideas To Keep In Mind As You Talk With Your Kids:
For many kids and families, May signals the end of the school year. This means that kids are navigating testing, final games, and performances. Some will come out on top, while others will receive no awards or accolades. Be sensitive to what the kids in your life are experiencing and encourage them that they can persevere with the challenges they face, just like the believers in the early church.
