Seesaw is an Online Learning Journal that students can post their work to. It can then be viewed by families and teachers who can give feedback. Teachers are also able to post activities for students and communicate with families through messaging within the app. Parents can only view their child's work.
There are two apps available for Seesaw. The Family App and Class App. These are available to be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
You can also sign into Seesaw through a web page at https://app.seesaw.me/#/login where you can sign in as either a family member or as a student.
The Year 4 - 6 children at Parkvale School sign into their Seesaw Journals with their own school google account
The Year 0 - 3 children at Parkvale School scan a class QR code to log into their Seesaw Journals, which is in their classrooms. With the lockdown Seesaw have made a special Home Learning Code for children to use at home so they can post to their journals. You cannot post to a journal with the Family App, you can only send messages with attachments.
Seesaw Blogs
All classes have a Seesaw Blog this enables your child's work to be shared to a wider audience so their friends and other teachers can see their work and give feedback. Your teacher will be able to provide you with a link to your child's class blog.
