We experience the entire campus as an extension of our classrooms, all centered around the pond. Science classes perform experiments in the pond; community members monitor the eggs, hatching, and growth of resident goslings each spring; and students canoe on the water during PE classes.

Designated "no-mow" areas surrounding our pond and woodlands allow for beneficial flora to play their role in the ecosystem, provide habitat for animal life, and reduce our landscaping maintenance costs and energy usage. These are but a few of the efforts to reduce our environmental impact and expenses.

Kindergarten students take nature walks along the decks overlooking the pond, investigating wildlife, while Middle Schoolers eat lunch together, and Upper Schoolers take a break outside between classes.
