Topics to study:

-adverbs (manner, time, place, degree, affirmation, negation with examples) -prepositional phrases (know both simple prepositions and multiple word prepositions)

-coordinating conjunctions

-dependent clauses (subordinate clauses) vs. independent clauses (principal clauses)
