Parkland Strolling Strings is Parkland High School’s premier mobile string ensemble, featuring 75 violins, violas, cellos, and basses. Violins and violas stroll among the audience while performing entirely from memory, creating an engaging and interactive musical experience. From October to May, the group performs at school and community events, showcasing the skill, showmanship, and dedication of Parkland’s finest string musicians.

A donation of $200 is appreciated depending on the group size and venue distance.
PHS Strolling Strings Members rehearse during the summer and on Wednesdays after school throughout the school year. Strolling performances are scheduled from October to May, Monday to Friday during the school day. Students are responsible for making up any work missed during this period.
