The Festive Strolling Strings is a select group of performers that perform extra repertoire at our different venues. They most notably perform at Musikfest and other events during the school year! The instrumentation consists of 11 violins, 5 violas, 4 cellos, and 2 basses.

Rehearsal/Performance Schedule:
Rehearsal/Performance Schedule:
PHS Strolling Strings Members rehearse during the summer and on Wednesdays after school throughout the school year. Strolling performances are scheduled from October to May, Monday to Friday during the school day. Students are responsible for making up any work missed during this period.

1. Request strolling sheet music/audio tracks from mishlerb@parklandsd.org
2. Record two strolling selections with backup track
3. Record third selection from memory with backup track
4. Submit to mishlerb@parklandsd.org with subject "Strolling Strings Audition- [YOUR NAME]"
