Students learned the major differences between plant and animal cells. They observed these differences by comparing their own cheek cells to onion cells under the microscope. They ended the week researching a specific bacteria and the disease it causes. When we return from break, we will explore the human body systems.

We wrapped up our percent problems this week. I will be gone on maternity leave starting Monday, October 20th. Lisa Hollingsworth will be my sub while I am out. Students will start our ratio unit next week with Ms. Lisa. 

This week, we will be working on a project over our book study.

We are finishing up with our study of Ancient China!  This marks the end of our Unit over the Great River Civilizations of the past.  Next we will visit ancient Greece!
