We are taking notes and working on different grammar skills each week. We will continue to work on our 5-a-day.

This week we focused on modeling division of fractions. Modeling this helps us understanding that when we are dividing by a fraction we are asking, "How many groups?" 

We are working in our science unit based on the one-way-mirror phenomenon. This week we made new investigations into the interactions with light and one-way-mirrors.

In history we have been learning about early civilizations and the transition from hunter-gatherers to the first permanent communities.  

We have explored early civilizations in Mesopotamia and the first empire in Sumer. This week we expanded to Egypt!
