Students learned about light waves to figure out why the color of the sky changes during sunrises and sunsets. We spent some time understanding the properties of light and sound waves. We will wrap our space science unit by studying the scientific theory of how our solar system was formed. 

Today we cleaned out our lockers. Students are also bringing home their math workbooks that we used for lessons this year. If you are looking for a way for students to stay on top of their math skills this summer and avoid regression, these workbooks have great practice problems for them. Even if it's just one problem a day!

This week, we will be wrapping up our year with different reading activities. 

We will spend the week presenting our European Vacation plans in class!
