April 20th-April 25th: MAP Testing
Students have been learning about natural resources, both renewable and nonrenewable. This week, they followed the engineering design cycle to build wind turbines that lifted a bucket of weights. After break, we will cover the Earth's 4 spheres and the water cycle to get ready for the MAP test!
This week we did review stations to help us prepare for the iReady Math diagnostic. I am very proud of their hard work this year and the growth they have made!
This week, we will continue reading Holes by Louis Sachar! We will be reviewing all of the reading skills we have learned this year.
We have been studying the causes and events of the American Revolution. This has included some economic principles like taxes, inflation, and profiteering; as well as some historic events like the First and Second Continental Congress and The Declaration of Independence.
