The panel is pin locked. This is done purposely so that the infrastructure is not tampered with by students. Please get the PIN from Frank Romeo
Mode Selection Screen
Once the screen has been unlocked with the pin, the users are then greeted with a “mode selection”, which is shown to the right. The main differences between “Presentation Mode” and “Event Mode” are that Presentation mode allows for audio to be passed through the DSP and out to the speakers, providing basic ramping of audio for the screen and the two microphones from the touch screen. Whereas Event Mode is for larger events where an external mixer is used to control audio.
Presentation Mode Screen
Once the user clicks on “Presentation Mode”, they will then be prompted to select their visual source, whether it is Vivi or either of the HDMI ports, this is shown in the image to the right. Once the user selects their source, the screen will turn on. At the bottom of the screen, the user can ramp their audio for their input. Note that it is set at 70% by default. By clicking on the audio logo this will mute audio coming from the display.
