The club and co-curricular program is another important aspect of your educational experience at West Brook Middle School. You'll have opportunities to participate in a variety of activities that extend what you've been learning in classes, as well as in some new experiences you should enjoy. In addition, these experiences enable you to work closely with students from other classes and grades and to work with faculty in a more informal setting.
Our clubs and co-curricular offerings include a variety of opportunities for student involvement. This website provides descriptions of each offering along with club advisor contact information. We encourage you to participate in any program you find interesting.
You may join any of the clubs by signing up at the first meeting or the Co-Curricular Fair. Most activities meet weekly throughout the year, the club advisor will provide the details about the schedule. Most activities also meet after school until 3:25 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday, with the each individual club meeting schedule on the following page. Late buses are available, leaving at 3:30 p.m., for those who are eligible for bus transportation.
Finally, new activities can be initiated for the following school year (February - April of the preceding school year) if enough students are interested and can get a teacher sponsor. You can meet with Mr. DeRisi to discuss the procedures.
