Paramus High School is proud to offer a NEW opportunity to our 12th grade students. This integrated and supervised program will provide a unique educational opportunity designed to blend classroom learning with real-world work experience. Students will have the chance to gain hands-on skills, develop professional work habits, and explore career fields of interest while earning academic credit. By partnering with local businesses, government agencies, non-profits, and industry leaders, the program provides students with the opportunity to work part-time in a field related to their career interests, all while continuing their high school studies.
1) Scheduled "Cooperative Marketing" class in the morning blocks
2) Scheduled field work in the afternoon block.
Each component will allow the student to earn credits towards graduation, while also enabling them to pursue a professional field of interest and make connections to the local business community prior to leaving PHS.
The Cooperative Marketing class will award 5 credits for the full-year course, while the field work component will award 10 credits for the full-year.
