How To Join Class Sections
REQUIRED: All AP students MUST join their AP class section(s) through the College Board website!
This process will add you to the appropriate class roster for exam registration.
It will also allow you access to resources and assignments for the course.
REMEMBER: Each course section/period has a different “join code”.
Join Your AP Class Section through the College Board Site
Follow these steps:
Sign in to myap.collegeboard.org:
Use your College Board student account login to access this site. If you do not have a student account, click the "Sign Up" link.
Students must create their own accounts. Parents should not create an account for them.
Click the "Join a Course or Exam" button:
Most students will join a course.
Students enrolled in an Educere AP course will join an "exam only" since there is no section or period associated with those courses.
Submit your course code:
Enter the join code(s) provided by your AP teacher(s).
Students enrolled in an Educere AP course must see Ms. McEnery in Room 412 for your course join code.
Verify the course information:
Make sure the information that comes up is for the course you are taking. If it is, click "Yes".
Fill out registration information:
The first time you enroll in an AP course in My AP, you will need to fill out some registration information. It’s important to provide accurate information.
You only have to do this once.
Repeat the process if you are enrolled in multiple AP courses.
The setup will most likely occur in your AP class, during one of the first days of school.
Exams will not be ordered without this initial enrollment.
