Paragon International University is proud to offer a advisory service to all students. This service is provided by Mr. Bunly EK, throughout term time to assist students to manage their own psychological well-being.
● It can help us to understand our relationships better and improve them.
● It can help us to increase our level of self-awareness.
● It can help us to explore our feeling and understand and manage them better.
● It can help us to recognize the past and current behaviors which we do not want to take into the future.
● It can help us to improve our communication skills.
● It offers a place to reflect upon oneself and our relationship with the world.
Young people clearly face many challenges and may find at times that they need someone to talk to. Advisory Service is a process which offers support and guidance when things become difficult. The Advisor will provide a safe and confidential place for a young person to explore overwhelming and upsetting thoughts/feelings in a drive to enable changes.

Issues young people may be struggling with, include:
● Academic pressure
● Anxiety about the future
● Anxiety in general
● Exam stress
● Low mood
● Parental divorce or separation
● Peer pressure
Once the referral has been made, the Advisor will meet and assess the student. The process is important to identify the needs of the young person, and ensure that he/she has agreed to attend. Advising must be voluntary. Students can be encouraged to attend, or a recommendation can be made, but ultimately young people have choices. The assessment also provides an opportunity for both students and Advisor to meet and decide on the best course of action. Students will be offered initial 6 weeks of advisory service and then a review will take place if more sessions will be required.
Due to the nature of the advisory process, students are encouraged to come alone for their advisory session.
All young people are entitled to confidentiality as outlined by Code of Ethics. This means that the information they bring to the session will be held in confidence between themselves and the Advisor. Information will not be shared unless they have agreed upon it. The Advisor will, however, state that they may need to break confidentiality should they deem a particular young person to be at significant risk to him/herself or others. At this point, information may need to be shared with another party, either within college or with an appropriate referral to an outside agency.
This policy establishes the framework for classroom and facility reservations across both campuses of Paragon International University. It ensures equitable access to university resources at all locations while maintaining an environment conducive to academic excellence and student development.
The Peer Tutoring Program aims to support students’ academic success by providing peer-to-peer learning opportunities. Through this program, students (tutees) can request additional academic support in specific courses, and qualified student tutors will be nominated to provide guidance. This initiative fosters collaboration, improves learning outcomes, and enhances student engagement.
