Peer Tutoring Program 

Peer Tutoring Program is a program designed for those students who need more assistance in their registered course by providing a free tutoring service. This program can also give opportunities for outstanding students to become tutoring teaching those who need more support in their current registered course

The tutee:

have had great opportunities to have an environment where they can have a discussion with their mentor on their academic progress, boosting their GPA, customized schedule, and strengthen their communication skill and problem-solving skills. The Peer Tutoring Program has a flexible time according to the availability of the tutors and tutees, however, the target of this program was set to be at least 2 hours per week for each course. 

The tutor:

have had great opportunities to be a leader in the group, boosting their resume, customized their schedule, organized their proper time, strengthen their communication skill, problem-solving, and received the certificate from the Director of Student Services Office as a reward for their hard work. To become a tutor, a student must have at least a GPA of 2.70 or above, has an available time for 1 or 2 hours per week, at least a “B” or above from a course, and commitment to teaching.
