An information system collects, processes, stores, analyzes and disseminates information for a specific purpose. In short, it gets the right information to the right people, at the right time, in the right amount and in the right format. To challenges faced by firms, information systems provide solutions that combine elements of management, organization, and technology. Management Information Systems students at ParagonIU are expected to explore both the management dimension of information systems, covering issues of leadership, strategy, and management behavior, and the technological aspect of them, which deals with problems of computer hardware, software, data management, and networking/telecommunications technologies.
