Year 9 Options 2024

The selection of optional subjects at key stage four is one of the most crucial moments in any student’s secondary education.  The information in this website will support you through the options process and ensure your informed choices lead to the maximisation of your potential. 

It will be important that you understand your own strengths and weaknesses so that you can optimise your chances of success. Equally, we recommend that you select courses in which you have a real interest. 

In our most recent Ofsted inspection report our curriculum and options choices were described as “varied and motivating”. Being able to offer a broad and balanced curriculum allows accessibility for all, and meets the needs and  aspirations of our students.
