In the Women in Tech program, women students can learn to code right in their own homes, and can learn the core languages of web development: JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, Python, R, SPSS and Digital Marketing. Once mastered, these skills do not only improve their likelihood of employability but also allow them to work remotely.
We provide students the opportunity to learn technical skills across these different courses:
Business Analytics: Focuses on using statistical methods, linear/multiple regression, and other functions in Excel
Python: Learning how to code with Python and getting an overview of basic python syntax and features
Web Development: Building websites using JavaScript, CSS, and HTML

Also, you will be assigned to a mentor who will follow up with you on weekly basis either through online meetings or email, to follow up with you if you have any questions on the course material or homework. In order to keep track of your meetings with your mentor, you will fill in a check-in form on a weekly that will be checked by the staff members to know if you met with your mentor that week.
for the advanced courses, you will work on developing your own portfolio with the support of the volunteers, it will contain all of the assignments and projects that you have worked on throughout the semester.
