Science Club Christmas Tree

The Manchester High School Science Club decorated a tree for the Children's Hospital Holiday Tree Festival by making their decorations from recycled litter and waste. The tree was designed to educate people about how scrap plastics are harming the ocean ecosystems. The tree was sold to raise money for Children's Hospital. The Science Club will continue to teach our other students how to recycle old plastic, or avoid them in the first place by using reusable bags, water bottles, and straws.
