Overview
All WIND correspondence course for women at CCDOC last 6 weeks. The coursework and feedback are conducted remotely, over email, so coaches can help with the course no matter where they currently live or if they have a full time job. Every coach provide feedbacks on their own schedule, as long as it is done before Monday morning when it is sent to participants at CCDOC!
A description of the feedback process is outlined below:

Tips for Coaching
Do's
Write approximately one page of feedback. You can even include a second page if you have a lot to say!
Check your participant’s assignment from that week and write feedback accordingly.
Include quotes from the participant’s assignment from that week, or make references to key aspects of the assignment
Keep feedback specific. You can even structure it by different topics within the assignment
Try making participants feel heard by asking questions about what they wrote
You can talk a little about your own experiences, the way you would talk to a friend
Keep the conversation positive and supportive
Dont's
Don't make the feedback too short; women expect at least a page
Don’t keep the feedback too general; women expect details
Don’t write about yourself more than focusing on what the participant is saying; a little bit about yourself is fine to help the participant relate.
Give direct advice (e.g. you should do this...), but do make suggestions for different options
Course Prep
Review samples of feedback that coaches have written in previous courses.
Coach Bios: Create your bio using this template. If you have coached previously, WIND will have a copy that can be reused. DON'T FORGET TO MAKE A COPY of the template document to use for your own bio. When you finish, download and send to programs@windprogram.org OR send a link to your bio to that same email.
Pre- survey: Review the results from your participant's pre-survey. The course coordinators will share these with you during the orientation session a week before the course starts.
