Value Portrait

Students continue to explore and refine their use of the element of value in the creation of a portrait drawing. They learned the grid technique to assist them in creating an accurate line drawing of their subject. Additionally, they explored the various pencil types that aid in creating a wider range of values. Lastly, they used blending tools and techniques to smoothly transition from one value to another.
