Classroom Expectations

To maintain a positive learning environment in our classroom, students are expected to:

• come to class prepared by bringing everything necessary with them
• use appropriate language at all times and be respectful of others
• listen when someone is speaking and only one person should be talking at a time
• keep hands, feet, and objects to themselves
• always give 100 % effort

Extra Help

Students are encouraged to ask for extra help. I am available before and after school if you would like additional help. Please see me in advance to schedule a time to meet. I am available every other day during enrichment for extra help and reinforcement.

Homework

• Homework is given to help extend and enhance the classroom learning, as well as to reinforce responsibility skills. When a student chooses not to complete their homework or turn it in on time, then the student is not accepting responsibility for their learning.
• Expect homework to be assigned almost every night.
• Homework will be checked randomly and students will receive points for completion of the homework assignment and not by the correctness.
