Purchasing Questions

Question: We have a SMART panel pen that has gone missing. How can we purchase a replacement pen?

Pens will soon be available in the District Marketplace from Camcor, bid awarded reseller for SMART. Search criteria suggestion: 'smart board pen'. Until they are available in the marketplace, please email Daniel.Shinneman@palmbeachschools.org for assistance ordering the pens.

Question: The nib on the SMART panel pen is completely worn down. How can we get a replacement pen?

Submit an Incident Report in eSupport with a picture of the pen and Ed Tech will send a replacement in the PONY.

Question: I understand these systems are going into all classrooms. However, we have grant or other school-based funding sources and would like to put a system in a conference room. Can we purchase a system with internal funds?

There are options for height-adjustable carts or wall-mounted SMART interactive display systems for schools to purchase for special, non-classroom areas. There is also a smaller, 65" panel size that may be more appropriate for a smaller conference room. Please reach out to Dan Shinneman in the EdTech department for more information.
