Ms. Loidy graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a BS in Business Administration. Ms. Loidy also holds a certificates in Early Childhood Development and is a Google Certified Educator Level 1. Ms. Loidy is on school committees such as the Safety and School Wide Positive Behavior Committee. Ms. Loidy has worked at Plumosa SOA Afterschool program since 2014.
Prior to Plumosa, she worked as an Afterschool Director at North Grade Elementary School for nine years and was an activity afterschool leader at Starlight Cove Elementary School for four years.
Mr. O is a first generation college student and currently attends Palm Beach State College. He is a Phi Theta Kappa member of Palm Beach State College and enjoys the arts ranging from drawing to music. In addition, Mr. O is the youth president of his church and has been for over six years. He is also a mentor to many middle school and high school students, and loves sports. Mr. O is an aspiring educator! He realizes that many kids need a positive role model and guidance to get through life, and he wants to shape their futures for the better.
Mr. O has worked at Plumosa SOA Afterschool program for over five years.
Ms. Emilda (Ms.E) graduated from Palm Beach State College with an Associates Degree in Arts. She is currently enrolled in the Social Work program at Florida Atlantic University. Ms. E has not decided if she would like to pursue her education to obtain a Masters Degree or continue to work with children or possibly the elderly.
Ms. Emilda is the first generation in her family to receive a high school diploma and a college degree. Her mother never attended school and her father had only achieved a sixth-grade education, both worked extremely hard to provide for their family. Her parents are her motivation to work hard even in tough times and to make a difference.
Ms. Emilda has worked at Plumosa SOA Afterschool program for three years. Prior to Plumosa, Ms. Emilda volunteered over 150 hours at Banyan Creek Elementary, she was also enrolled in the Early Childhood Education program at Atlantic High School.
Ms. Amber will be receiving her AA summer of 2020. She will pursue to becoming an X-Ray Technician, and will further her career doing cat-scans and MRI's. Her goal is to work at a children’s hospital, as she loves working with children.
Ms. Amber has worked at Plumosa SOA Afterschool program for over two years. Prior to Plumosa, Ms. Amber volunteered over 150 hours at Banyan Creek Elementary, Florence Fuller Child Development Center, and her church.
Ms. Elise currently attends Florida Atlantic University pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in neuroscience and behavior. Upon graduation, she wants to pursue a Master’s Degree in Bioengineering. She enjoys working with kids and hopes to pursue a career as a pediatric emergency room physician.
Ms. Elise has worked at Plumosa SOA Afterschool program for about a year.
Ms. Rapha graduated from Santaluces Community High School. Ms. Rapha will like to continue her education to become a neurologist.
Ms. Rapha was born and raised in Haiti, moved to the U.S in 2017. In her family there are a lot of kids, she always loved children.
Ms. Rapha has worked at Plumosa SOA Afterschool program for less than a year. Prior to Plumosa, Ms. Rapha volunteered at church's nursery every Sunday.
