Task:

Unpacking your Action Steps for Deliberate Practice

In Palm Beach County, teachers are required to create two different action steps for their deliberate practice (PGP). Your task is to go a bit further than that. We are asking you to unpack each action step and think about what is really required of each of those steps. Watch the video to see an example. Remember, the video demonstrates just one unpacking.  You are required to do two.

Success Criteria

•  Watch the video "Which Form Do I Choose?" Decide which evaluation/PGP form best describes your daily activities.

• Communicate with your administration to be sure you have selected the appropriate form.

• Watch the videos on how to create a plan and unpack your action steps.

• Watch the video on how to adjust and monitor the plan throughout the year.

• Check out the task example.

• Log into iObservation to create the plan. Need assistance? Seek out the Marzano Liaison on your campus.

• Use your PGP plan to complete the Google Form provided on this page.
