Large Groups
Supporting Middle Schoolers Together
Large group counseling involves bringing together a group of students to address common issues, develop important life skills, and foster a sense of community. These sessions typically include 6-10 students and focus on topics relevant to their age group, such as building self-esteem, improving social skills, managing stress, and developing effective study habits. Group counseling provides a safe and supportive environment where students can share their experiences, learn from each other, and gain insights into their own behaviors and feelings. Through interactive activities, discussions, and collaborative problem-solving, students develop stronger interpersonal skills and build supportive peer relationships. The goal of large group counseling is to empower students with the tools they need to navigate the challenges of middle school and beyond, promoting personal growth and emotional well-being.
